Calling the case of The One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church vs. Thomas the Twin, called Didymus, #0033-AD. The charge is “Misfeasance against the Crown, being Our Lord Jesus Christ.” The congregation will be Thomas’ jury.

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. – 1 Corinthians 12:12

Right here, we learn who Jesus is, of what his mission consists, what Jesus’ church will be, and our proper response to both Jesus and the church.

The Word of God is for everyone. Nehemiah tells us 6 times that all of the people were there. What a marvelous teaching for us to learn and practice — to include all as worthy to Love God and to hear God’s Holy Word!

Mary loved and nurtured Jesus and his ministry. How will we?

Like their foremothers, Elizabeth and Mary are also great prophets, and they give us songs and blessings in the tradition of Miriam, Hannah, and Deborah.

After laying bare her soul before God, Hannah relaxed; she “let go and let God” do the heavy lifting. Her lament, her praise, and worship at the temple restored her. She Interpreted her world with a new vision. Hannah rose to meet her challenges and satisfy her expectations. 

Jesus chose to teach by example via his human self. Heal and help wherever possible as the need found him. We can acknowledge that divine grace by working to make God’s world a more just and loving society.

Eastertide presents us with a clean slate. Our sins are forgiven so that we can focus on ushering in the Reign of God in new and creative ways.
